Lucas Coates

  • Post graduate degree in Masters of Physiotherapy completed in 2004 University of Sydney
  • Undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation completed in 2002 from University of Wollongong
  • Completed Certifcate III in Personal Fitness at Loftus TAFE 1998
  • Lucas has worked as a Personal Trainer since 1998, an Exercise Physiologist since 2002 and since 2004 as a Physiotherapist combining his knowledge, experience and practical problem solving approach to deliver long lasting treatment outcomes that can be tailored to anyone’s needs.
  • He has lectured and tutored at TAFE for the Dipolma of Fitness and Certifacte IV Fitness Trainer courses
  • Lucas works in conjunction with many of the Shire’s best personal trainers and their clientele
  • Continued and previous work with professional, international and national level athletes including: running, golf, surfing, ironman, swimming, rugby league, water polo, motor cross, wakeboarding.
  • Lucas loves surfing, training, snowboarding and playing golf…..when he gets a leave pass from family duties!
Andrew Hunter

  • Most senior and most amusing by a country mile (and that’s really not that difficult), physiotherapist in our practice with over 20 years experience both as an elite level Triathlete and physiotherapist.
  • Degree in Physiotherapy from University of Sydney.
  • Experience with World and Olympic champion athletes in a variety of sports, including: swimming, cycling, triathlon and surf life saving.
  • Interest in combining theoretical physiotherapy knowledge, with sport specific biomechanics and technique knowledge to achieve best outcomes for the individual athlete.
  • Provider for NSW Institute of Sport.
  • Interests: cycling, photography and wine.
Rebecca

Rebecca graduated in New Zealand with a Bachelor of Health science in Physiotherapy in 2009. She initially worked in NZ and the U.K as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist treating a variety of conditions before moving to Sydney three years ago and has been in a prominent sports injury clinic in Sydney since.

She has a keen interest in sports biomechanics and movement patterns. Her personal philosophy is to “Treat the cause, not the symptoms” and takes great pleasure in being able to use this to maximize her clients overall health and well being, active resilience and performance. She enjoys integrating her physiotherapy, muscle balance and biomechanics with the other industry professionals to ensure every individual reaches their goals.

Rebecca prides herself on her hands on approach, quality and excellence, ensuring the highest standard of service for every individual.

Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys keeping a healthy and active lifestyle that includes the beach, tennis, family and friends and travelling.
